I am on the final big week before the taper begins. Let’s hope my hip and hamstring hold out. So far I seem to be doing okay. There’s 800m repeats tonight and then 2 long runs on the weekend. Then I should be in the clear for the next 3 weeks.
But tapering isn’t only easy runs, there are still high intensity runs just shorter ones. But more on that later after I tough it out this week.
