Day 2 of the new year and my new plan already has a rest day scheduled in. But I need it. I ran a lot in December but without a plan. Then on the 31st I put my new plan in my calendar working backwards from the Marathon and coincidentally the plan started this week. Then on new years day I joined a group and went on a long hard run. Not fast but the snow made the running tough and the rolling hills will be remembered for sure.
Saturday is a scheduled fast run so I am glad to take it easy today. Unfortunately the weather is turning sour today for the next week. But I will be running through it.
